To celebrate Mothers Day we are “rewinding” back to one of the first episodes we recorded featuring the highest ranking woman in the oil drilling industry, Kim McHugh.
While studying petroleum engineering at Texas A&M, Kim played on the Aggie volleyball team and advanced to the NCAA tournament! She rose to become the Vice President of Chevron’s Drilling and Completions and today attributes her mental strength to her experience on the court.
“You can do more than you think you can,” she explained. “It is your mind that stops you.” In this episode, you will learn how to lead with empathy, communicate clearly, and fairly assess feedback from this proud mom.
To all of the mom’s listening today, Happy Mother’s Day! I respect your commitment and appreciate all that you do!
You will learn:
- 7:30 The impact role models can have.
- 13:00 How to increase employee engagement.
- 16:00 How the growth of women’s sports will impact the corporate world.
- 31:00 The best way to give feedback to your teammates.
